Armando is an assistant professor at Indiana University’s School of Public Health in Bloomington and lives in Indianapolis. Armando’s research is focused on developing interventions that increase exclusive breastfeeding to reduce type 2 diabetes risk among high-risk Latino mother-infant dyads. Armando’s research team integrates community-engaged research, implementation science, and human factors engineering approaches to develop innovative interventions.
