TaKiesha Smith

​​TaKiesha Smith, CCHW, CLC is a wife of 26 years and mother of two adult children.  She has a passion for learning and education. She is a DONA Certified birth doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Certified Community Health Worker. She is also the Indiana state ambassador for Count the Kicks, where she educates her clients and other Indiana residents about the use of tools to improve birth outcomes. Breastfeeding support and education are important to her because she would like to see more BIPOC moms nursing their babies and feel supported while doing it.
