Jo Anna Curless

Jo Anna Curless BSN, RN, IBCLC, is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner student living in Walkerton, IN, and attending Frontier Nursing University. Before attending her master’s program, Jo Anna served as the breastfeeding coordinator of the St. Joseph County WIC program; while at WIC, Jo Anna was able to achieve a breastfeeding family-friendly community designation for the city of South Bend. Along with the designation, Jo Anna also helped Indiana WIC partner with the South Bend Cubs to get a Mamava Nursing Station at the Stadium for breastfeeding families. Jo Anna is also a committee member of the Indiana State Breastfeeding Coalition, working on an app that brings all the state's breastfeeding resources in one place. Jo Anna supports her professional organizations by being a member of the USLCA. When Jo Anna is not in school or helping breastfeeding dyads, she spends her time with her husband and her two grade school kids.
