Ann Marie Neeley

Ann Marie Neeley, IBCLC, is the Statewide Breastfeeding Initiatives Manager for the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) in the Division of Nutrition and Physical Activity. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) who has been supporting Hoosier families with infant feeding for more than 20 years. Ann Marie co-founded Flourish, a nonprofit organization that provides free infant feeding support in Bloomington, Indiana and is an active leader of its weekly drop-in clinic, Milk Matters. She also works in the lactation department of IU Health Bloomington Hospital and currently serves as President of the Monroe County Chest/Breastfeeding Coalition. Ann Marie is passionate about racial equity in maternal and infant health. As part of her position at IDOH, Ann Marie works closely with the Indiana Breastfeeding Coalition and The Milk Bank. She is also responsible for the development and implementation of the Indiana Breastfeeding Plan, advocating for equitable health outcomes across the state.
