A drop-in center or support group is where new mothers can come with their babies to talk with a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC or other Lactation Professional) about breastfeeding questions or concerns they may have. Many times you can also talk to other mothers there, which is helpful. Drop in centers or support groups are often held in hospitals and most have an accurate scale that can measure the growth of your baby and the milk intake during a feeding.
Due to Covid-19, many groups have shut down. If you can't find one close to you in the list below, please check other statewide organizations where you can find help.
